The Dimpleflo Double Pipe Heat Exchanger (also known as “Tube-in-Tube”) is the simplest and most robust configuration of hygienic heat exchanger. Dimpleflo tube in tube heat exchangers are utilised for fluids containing stringy fibres, chunks or other particles and low-high viscosity fluids.

A tube in tube heat exchangers involves the product flowing through the inner heat transfer tubes and the service fluid flows through the surrounding shell. Because of its configuration and geometry, the Dimpleflo Double Tube heat exchanger is a true counter current heat exchanger providing absolute product integrity.  

Using dimple tube technology, both heat transfer and efficiency are increased over conventional smooth tube heat exchangers. A further benefit the turbulence enhancing dimples is potential fouling is minimised, especially for fouling and viscous product
