Product overview

The plant was used to Dry blend in Additives in the manufacturing of Infant Formula products.

Milk powder was received in bulker bags (1.5ton) and transferred into the plant via a wide belt conveyor through a rapid roller door system. From there the bags were lifted up with overhead hoist and lowered into the Bulk bag unloading stations. The milk powder was vacuum conveyed up to Colby receiving hoppers and separators and then dropped through a rare earth magnet and rotary valve into the Forberg Blender. There are also Two (2) 25kg bag receiving and tipping stations with hoppers and four (4) dosing augers where Vitamins and minerals can be added and conveyed to the blender. After the blender was vacuum conveyed through a Nucon rotary sifter and sent to different parts of the plant for filling.
