LPG-10 Spray dryer
This dryer was last used on plant proteins.
Filtered hot air enters the drying tower in a spiral. Liquid is pumped into the top and atomized into droplets by a high-speed atomiser. Droplets and hot air flow in parallel, evaporating moisture to form powder. Dried powder is collected via a cyclone separator.
Key Features
- Anti-Stick Design: Atomizer spray diameter strictly calculated; drying tower diameter enlarged to prevent material wall adhesion.
- Extended Residence Time: Tower height-to-diameter ratio for prolonged material exposure, enabling low-temperature spray drying.
- Optimized Tower Cone: Taper set to 60Á for improved flow and discharge.
- High-Speed Atomization: Frequency-controlled atomizer (0.75 kW) operates at 10,000-18,000 RPM for fine, uniform droplets.
- Advanced Percussion Hammer: Made of latest PTFE material, ensures effective vibration with reduced noise.
- Visibility & Access: Tower equipped with internal lighting and observation/cleaning doors.
- Efficient Hot Air Distribution: Spiral volute structure suppresses material upon entry, promoting orderly swirling descent.
